Pajaro Dunes Demonstration Garden

Avocet Demonstration Garden

The Pajaro Dunes Demonstration garden is designed to be an interactive educational resource for the community.  It is a blend of native plants selected for their ability to thrive in our coastal climate. We hope to refine the gardens over time as the plants grow and we learn more about their lifecycle.

 

This website is under development, but is planned to be a resource of information on native coastal plants that grow in our region. Stay tuned.

 

We want to give thanks to Cara Clark, Restoration Director of Wetlands Watch in Watsonville, for her great help in the design of the Demonstration Garden and Jeff Rosewall of Sierra Azul for his tremendous knowledge of plants, native and non-native.
